German Sustainability Code: Interseroh meets standards for sustainable management

As a leading provider of environmental services aimed at closing product, material or logistics loops, Interseroh once more has signed the Declaration of Conformity of the German Sustainability Code. Supervised by the German Council for Sustainable Development, the Sustainability Code is recognized internationally and meets the legal requirements of CSR reporting. As a key element for assessing sustainability it makes companies’ sustainability performance transparent and comparable. It describes standards and thus extends the basis for assessment. Interseroh has published and signed a comprehensive Declaration of Conformity with 20 criteria and quantifiable performance indicators covering the fields of strategy, process management, environment and society. "This Code is an important guideline for our customers, partners and employees, and it demonstrates our sustainability performance to the entire market," says Markus Müller-Drexel, Managing Director of INTERSEROH Dienstleistungs GmbH. “Our understanding of sustainability is built around actively taking steps against any and every form of wastage of material resources, time, skills or financial assets. For more than 25 years, we have based our business model and have oriented all of our services on a long-term sustainability strategy.” Following the core vision of “zero waste solutions”, Interseroh is an expert for the circular economy working on solutions that organise materials within a closed loop, extend product lifetimes and design processes to be as efficient as possible – always with the aim of conserving resources. Interseroh develops individual and sector-specific concepts for customers throughout Europe based on the principle of a circular economy.
