Interzero Investigates Suspected IT Security Incident

The Interzero Group is currently conducting an intensive investigation into a suspected IT security incident.

On 30 April 2026, a ransomware group publicly claimed to have carried out an attack on Interzero, alleging that company data had been obtained. Our internal security team, working alongside external specialists, immediately took steps to analyse the situation, narrow it, and minimise any potential impact.

What has happened?
We are currently carrying out an intensive investigation into a suspected unauthorised access to our IT systems. Such access has been publicly claimed, but has not yet been verified. We are carefully examining whether and to what extent such access has taken place at all. It has not been confirmed that our systems have been compromised or that personal or business data has been exfiltrated.

Regardless, we are treating this incident with the utmost seriousness. The protection of customer data, as well as the stability and availability of our services, remains our highest priority.

What we are doing:

  • We are working closely with the relevant authorities.
  • External IT forensics specialists are supporting our incident response team.
  • All security-relevant systems are being reviewed and further secured.

What does this mean for our customers?
We will proactively reach out to our customers and partners should any action be required. In the meantime, we urge everyone to remain particularly vigilant regarding suspicious e-mails or phone calls and, if in doubt, to contact known representatives directly. Our services and operational processes are currently not affected.

We kindly ask for your understanding that we are unable to share further details at this stage, as the analysis is still ongoing. We are in close contact with the relevant authorities in this regard.

Should you have any queries, please do not hesitate to contact our press office:
