Interseroh wins ARC award for its 2018 sustainability magazine

The 33rd International Annual Report Competition (ARC)

Cologne. The environmental services provider Interseroh has won an “Annual Report Competition” (ARC) award for its 2018 sustainability magazine. It received a Gold Award in the Specialized A.R. category (specialist financial publications, such as CSR reports, etc.) Americas & Europe. The international jury, consisting of 200 experts from the fields of Investor Relations, Design and Photography as well as Text, praised the contents and design of the sustainability magazine. As the design partner, the agency HGB submitted the application on behalf of Interseroh. And it isn’t the first time that Interseroh has won the award: the Cologne-based environmental services provider also secured three of the sought-after awards in 2017.

“Transparent reporting about the services and opportunities in the area of sustainability is especially important to everyone here at Interseroh,” highlighted Markus Müller-Drexel, Managing Director of INTERSEROH Dienstleistung GmbH. “Therefore, we are very pleased that our sustainability magazine was praised by the international jury once again. We shall continue to report about our social and environmental achievements in this way.”

Interseroh’s sustainability magazine is published annually and constitutes an extension to the traditional sustainability report, which is published every two years. The journalistically prepared magazine focuses on the positive impact of the services provided by Interseroh according to the motto “zero waste solutions”. Above all, these include the innovative solutions with which the environmental service provider works to prevent the wastage of products and materials. The services of the company also aim to achieve an active reduction in CO2 emissions, and are increasingly based on digital solutions. The current sustainability magazine and the complete 2018 sustainability report are available at www.interseroh.de/en/sustainability.

About the ARC Awards:

The “Annual Report Competition (ARC)” awards have been conferred each year since 1987 by the independent events organiser MerComm, Inc./The International Academy of Arts & Sciences, N.Y. The awards recognise annual reports which feature customised design concepts as well as harmonising imagery and text. With an independent panel of 200 expert volunteers, the competition is the biggest international call for tenders for annual reports. In the individual sectors and categories, awards are presented in the categories of “Gold”, “Silver”, “Bronze” and “Honors”. Following from the Gold Awards, the “Grand Awards” are conferred on a sector-spanning basis. The awards ceremony is taking place in Seoul on 17th October 2019.
