Interzero launches Circular Academy in Germany

+++ Building expertise based on practical experience

+++ Seasoned experts pass on insights into the circular economy, designing for circularity, the technical foundations of recycling, waste management, legislation and EPR

+++ This knowledge is shared via modern, compact e-learning modules

Köln/Berlin. Tthout the right expertise, there can be no circular economy. With this in mind, Europe’s leading provider of circular solutions has now launched its Interzero Academy in Germany. This new offering gives employees from customer companies and other interested parties the opportunity to obtain carefully curated knowledge directly from Interzero’s proven experts.

This means it is deliberately different to the learning resources offered by academic and institutional providers and is designed to complement these offerings. The Academy provides insights into the circular economy, designing for circularity, the technical foundations of recycling, waste management, legislation and extended producer responsibility (EPR).

Courses on the amended German Packaging Act, the circular economy, sorting and recycling technologies are already available, while an additional course on the appropriate disposal and use of lithium-ion batteries has also been planned. The Academy uses tried-and-tested e-learning methods and self-produced videos to deliver its courses. Additional learning content will be placed online over the next few months.

“Companies want to make greater use of circular solutions and have to meet statutory requirements. To do this, their employees need more up-to-date practical knowledge on how to implement these solutions. We are now sharing this knowledge in Germany too. We already run a highly successfully academy at Interzero in Poland and have had plenty of requests to share our expertise via training sessions here in Germany. Our experts have delivered in-person and virtual courses for renowned companies. We are now building on these experiences,” explained Torben Kabbe, Head of Business Development/Innovation & Project Management at Interzero.

As before, the plan is for the Academy to also offer consulting by experts. A compact standard course that can be completed in about an hour currently costs EUR 90.00. Participants will receive the Interzero Academy Certificate. The range of courses is available here: academy.interzero.de
